House & area
The house has stood on this slope since 1911. We took it over in 1974 and have rebuilt it twice, most recently the bathrooms and heating in 2019.
Breakfast
From half past seven to half past ten, at one long table. Bread from the village baker, eggs from the farm across the road, jam from our own garden. Leaving early? Tell us the night before.
Garden and balconies
Behind the house is the garden with deck chairs and a fountain. Ruth waters the balcony flowers every evening at seven; you can set your watch by it.
Bikes and gear
Four bikes wait in the shed, free to use. We also lend hiking maps, poles and a cool bag.

Getting here
- By car
- A10 to the Musterort exit, then follow the signs to the lake for 4 km.
- By train
- To Musterort, then bus 3 towards the lake; the Musterweg stop is right outside the house.

- We are happy to collect you from the station, just tell us your arrival time.
- Parking
- Four spaces at the house, free, one with a wallbox.
